What is a bridal trunk show?​

A trunk show is a special event hosted by bridal boutiques where a designer sends a special selection of their latest wedding dress collection for brides to try on for a limited period. These events are an opportunity for brides-to-be to try on a curated selection of gowns including styles that aren't part of our regular inventory.

 

Here's a breakdown of what makes attending the Morilee trunk show unique:

1. Exclusive Access to New Collections:

   • Brides will have the opportunity to try dresses which would ordinarily not be available in stores yet.

   • Brides can try on unique designs and purchase dresses that are not part of our regular stock.

2. Special Discounts:

   • All brides who say yes to the dress during the trunk show weekend will receive a 20% discount, saving hundreds of euro on their dream dress. All brides attending will also receive a goodie bag and a glass of bubbles.

3. By Appointment:

   • The trunk show is by appointment only with very few available appointments as it is a high demand event, this will ensure that you and your bridal party receive personalized attention.

4. Time-Limited:

   • The trunk show is for two days only, making it a temporary and exclusive shopping experience.​​

What happens at a trunk show appointment?

You will have one hour to try on any dresses you would like from the selection sent to us by the designer, choose wisely as you probably won't have time to try more than 4-8 dresses on in your timeslot. A variety of sizes and styles will be available with just one of each dress. If the sample is too big we will clamp it at the back with dress clamps and if it is too small we will pin a panel to it so you can see how it will look once it's ordered in your size.  You and your bridal party will receive a glass of bubbles on arrival and a goodie bag. You will also receive a 20% discount on the dress you choose. A 50% deposit is required to place an order for the dress. Please note that it will not be possible to book a retry appointment for the trunk show as the dresses will be in store for just two days so bring your full bride squad to the appointment to avoid anyone special missing out on your 'say yes' moment.
